Woohoo!! Brian is 39!! Happy Birthday to my favourite man on earth!! Brian is the light of the adventure! He always is up for fun and always has a positive attitude ready to steer the day! We celebrated Brian in Waterton for the day and it was 10/10!
The drive to Waterton is so underrated. Its the most beautiful drive with rolling hills into mountain ranges, photos don't do justice. It feels like pure magic!
We didn't have any big plans while we were there but knew that we would be able to be spontaneous and have the best day and that's exactly what we did! We started the day with lunch at Wieners of Waterton. 10/10 hot dog place, iconic to Waterton.
The last time we were there was 7 years ago and the kids were so teeny then!
We walked along Waterton Lake, the wind was wild and the water was so high from all the recent rain.
We visited the town and the amazing little free museum they have. It was actually super cool inside and out! Kobe was on cloud 9 and living his absolute BEST life!
We walked to the falls and took it all in. Mist in our faces the cool air blowing off the fast rushing water. Mother Nature showing off for sure!
We took a drive up to Red Rock Canyon and Cameron Lake and spotted a Grizzly Bear Mama and her three cubs!! It was THE CUTEST thing to see. The cubs were hopping around in the tall grass while mama kept her eye on them, we watched them for 10 minutes before they disappeared into the mountain range. It was so cool to see!
We spent lots of time up at Cameron Lake. It was amazing! Such a beautiful spot! We brought steak in a cooler and made a salad and enjoyed Brian's birthday dinner on the top of a mountain! He said he loved it.
We finished the amazing day off with a birthday ice cream from a local ice cream shop. It was creamy and delicious and the perfect way to end a perfect day celebrating our favourite!
Brian, you are amazing in so many ways. We are all so grateful for you! You make us so happy, shower us with love every single day and always make sure we're taken care of. I love you endlessly!!!!! Happy Birthday, babe!
