Feeling Extra

 Life has felt a little extra lately but not in a dramatic way.. just extra chores to do, extra commitments to attend, extra dessert going into my belly.... just feeling extra. So, this post will just feel extra too I guess. Filled with random extras that are filling up our calendars in the best way! 

Alley Oop was the end of May and was fantastic! The kids balled their little hearts out and away we went! 

This weekend, Penny and I were in Lethbridge and Bentley and Brian were in Red Deer at a tournament and Carter held down the fort on Saturday chilling with Kobe at home. Both Bentley and Penny ended up winning 3rd place in each of their tournaments and Brian and I enjoyed our one on one time with each of them so much that we only took a small handful of photos each lol It was a great but busy weekend! 

And between all the tournaments, we've also had Penny's school band concert, a school dance, high school awards night, an orthodontic appointment and photos for my clients in the pouring rain!!

Carter has been to parties and hanging out with friends and, by some miracle,  we have even had time for creating new lego mini figures for Bentley. 

Carter has two days left of classes and then exams, Penny is elbow deep in writing her grade 6 P.A.T's and Bentley is finishing up all his final projects. My brain feels like mashed potatoes and I am dreaming about quiet summer nights!
