Christmas Band Concert

 Last night Bentley had his Christmas band concert and he killed it! This lucky kid gets to do percussion with his best friends. This is a coveted spot in the band so I don't know how they all managed to get it but super exciting for them! Bentley KILLED it! He even had a solo part and hit every note perfectly. I am so proud of this boy of ours. He was nervous and worried but you couldn't tell because he was up there just doin' his thing and "cooking" as they would say.

They played their hearts out and it was a wonderful evening watching him play. 

At our school, students are required to take band in grade 6 & 7 however it becomes an option in grade 8 and 9. Im not sure what Bentley will choose to do next year and we will support him in whatever he chooses so for now, we soak in every moment for what it is and last night with him was wonderful. Good job Bentley! Love you so much!!
