Spring Band Concert!

I LOVE how excited Bentley was about performing in his Spring Concert band. At our school, it is mandatory for the students to take band in grade 6 and 7 and then they can choose it as an option in grade 8 and 9 if they want to. Bentely has been telling us about his spring band concert for weeks and last night we finally got to see it!

I love his excitment for so many things, band included. He is playing the clarinet and just aced it! Way to go Bentley, you ROCK!

We will be so sad to say goodbye to who we think it the worlds best band teacher, Mr. Pierce. He is retiring this year and we will miss him so so much. He has such a musical talent and is an incredible teacher and mentor. We really are going to miss him.

And nothing makes band better than being with your two best friends. Love these three amigos so so much!

Bentley, we are so proud of you. You worked hard in Band and it shows. It was such a fun night watching you in your band concert. We're already looking forward to next year! Love you so so so much!!!!

Brian and I even slipped out after we dropped the kids off at home for a super quick date night. Brian had bought tickets to a Cirque show that ended up landing on the same night as Bentley band concert. There wasn't even a discussion that we wouldnt be missing his band concert or even slipping out early and if we missed the show then that would be ok. Everything worked out great. We got there for the last 45 minutes of the show and although it was short, it was fun and so nice to spend a minute with Brian. I sure love this best friend of mine.

It really was a great night celebrating the talents of Bentley! Love you bud!
