This Universe
Sometimes its hard to remember that there are galaxies and energy and an entire universe beyond our little earth but last Friday we were reminded of that in the most spectacular way.
Brian and I have never seen Northern Lights and have always wanted to. The hype was there, a full solar storm was happening and we did not miss it. We loaded everyone up with snacks and took a 45 minute drive out of the city. It started off small but we were amazed and immediately felt gratitude for this experience we had always wanted! The sky was a deep purple with dancing lights of colours in the distance. What we thought was as good as it would get.
I didn't want to leave but it was almost midnight so we started heading home.. once we got home though.. my mind was blown! The sky in our backyard what shifting and dancing and full of colours. This was even better than what we left. It is so rare to see them in the middle of the city and to be able to witness them in our own backyard was so so speical. Brian and I hung out until almost 2am soaking it all in. It was a night to remember forever for sure!
The sky was MAGIC. This universe is so cool. Definitely worth staying up half the night with my best friend to see them. Can't wait to do it again one day.
