Ending of Spring Break
Well, another Spring break is in the books. We managed to do something fun every day with our best friends and it wasn't easy going back to regular routines this morning but it is fun to think that we are on the home stretch and summer will be here before we know it!
We finished the rest of Spring break at the church gym playing tag and basketball and also going swimming at Southland leisure center.
We are so grateful for friends that fill our buckets and our time on spring break. I am so so grateful for a week of going to bed late, sleeping in a little and wearing our pajamas until lunch. It was much needed! I love having these kids home. We finished the weekend off with birthday parties and a baptism (for Tenny!). On Sunday, I set up our table entirely with paint and rocks. I was hoping to add a little of colour at the bottom of our stairs at our deck. We collectively painted 33 rocks. My favourite ones are the ones that the kids did. Brian even surprised us all with his amazing mountain range rock. Carter is still not sure that he believes that Brian did it.
I love Carter, Bentley and Penny so much. My three amigos will forever be my favourite part of Spring Break around here! Onto the home strecth and couting down the days until summer!!
