A little bit wild.

Allison and I took our kids to the zoo yesterday! Spring Break calls for at least one new adventure and we haven't done the zoo in years! Plus, it cannot get any better than when you all get to go with your best friends!

Since we went to the zoo last, they have gotten polar bears and otters and it was AMAZING! I cannot believe how BIG the polar bears are. Pictures do not do them justice. They are 10 feet tall standing and around 1100 pounds. They're huge and their enclosure is so big and so beautiful.

The otters were so cute and so fun to watch swim around and chase eachother. We spent hours just walking around, hanging out and taking it all in. We went to every corner of the Calgary zoo, it was great!

The animals were so active yesterday too. Most of them swimming or walking around, up and about, and even the black bear way up in the tree. It was cool to watch them.

The zoo needs some credit for rehibilitating animals and taking such good care of them but my heart also just wishes these animals were able to just be in the wild without borders holding them in. Its a torn feeling for sure. It was such a fun day spent with the Walkers!

Onto the rest of Spring Break hanging with my favourite little humans! Cheers to that!
