a little bit of life
Keeping up with moments is hard. So many amazing things I notice but don't have my camera by me to capture them often get pushed to the back of my memory box with uncertainty of remembering them in the future. This blog has brought back countless moments and memories. I read my blog books often and remember little things that I never wouuld have if I didn't have an exact account of them.
This week I made a point to keep my camera close. To capture the moments as they are and to remember the littlest things.
I NEED to document how proud I am to have Brian. This guy is the dream Dad! Although I try to study with our kids, they all know whos the brains of the family and all of them request "Dad". He studies with the boys for HOURS upon HOURS when they have a test coming up or an assignment to do. He makes it interesting and relatable. He often doesn't even get to take his work clothes off or even his jacket for that matter before diving into study materials. Like, is this man even real?! How is he this incredible with them!? And the answer.. he just is. He loves them so so much and does these things to ensure they know that success matters and the work is worth it! We are all so lucky to have him!
Penny has recentley been learning how to crochet and has been making all sorts of things! A little kitchen scrubber... And a little pot holder/another scrubber for me... How sweet is she! Her and Bentley have joined the crochet club at school and I am excited to see this new little interest in hers take off!
And, as for the 4 legged fur baby in the family who never gets the attention on here that he deserves... well.. he's been living his best life! Last night, he was cuddling his popcorn and his mom and had THE BIGGEST smile I have ever seen! It lasted for like, 5 minutes straight. He may have also been so happy because that same night he had a shower and fresh cut nails and was soooooooo soft and cozy ... he doesn't actually hate shower times so maybe that helped with his massive smile too! That sweet pup has all our hearts!
