May Long
Although May long weekend was literally only one week ago, it kinds feels like a far off experience that came and went so fast and that so much time has passed since. Like what?!
We were up to lots of fun this long weekend. Any weekend we can spend as a family, doing anything, is a win in my opinion! I was busy with lots of photoshoots for clients, Carter was in a basketball tournament and we even snuck in some time for the cutest little jewlery sale on our front drive. I had helped Bentley and Penny thoughout the week make around 30 beaded bracelets and necklaces and then Brian helped them set up this cute stand and sell them.
They each ended up with $18.25. They sold a total of $36.50 (including tips) and were both very happy about it. They're looking forward to doing it again.
Carter was in a Victoria Day long weekend tournament too! He played GREAT! It is so fun seeing how far this boy has come in the last month and just how much better he has gotten. He thinks quick, isnt intimidated by bigger players and isn't afraid to use the first 4 fouls if he needs to! Hes amazing and it was such a treat getting to watch him the entire weekend!
Honestly, its one of my favourite things to do, to watch them play and cheer them on. I am so proud to be their mom.
We somehow even made time to finish the long weekend off fishing. Until we got caught in the greatest thindershower driving home. It was awesome! Bentley really wanted to go fishing over the weekend and although we didn't catch anything, we had fun and the views were priceless.
It was the best kind of busy weekend and I am grateful for another day in paradise with my favourite people.
