Gardiners.
Its a miracle. This past weekend my entire family was in town. My sister and her family were in town from Manitoba for my nephews archery tournament and we were finally able to get an updated family photo! This has been 8 years in the making.
This whole past weekend was non stop and by the end of it our house looked like a complete bomb but we had so much fun. On Friday we went to Villiage Square Pool. It was a blast. Carter was at his best friend's birthday party so he wasn't able to come but that turned out ok because recently he's been breaking out in hives every time he goes into chlorine. So awful but we're hoping to get that sorted out next week at his allergist appointment.
Paisley slept over friday night and then for 7 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday, we quietly watched and cheered on my nephew who was competing in the Canadian Championships for Archery. He definitely has found his talent and it was amazing to watch him all weekend.
He is an amazing archer and I am one proud auntie. Ethan ended up winning GOLD! He was crowned the top Canadian archer under the age of 18! Ethan is currently 15 and has been doing archery for 3 years now. This boy is going to go far in this sport and we are so proud of him, way to go Ethan!
We spent the weekend with family at the arean and at my parents house. We had awesome family dinners and all the cousins spent more time together this weekend then they had in a long time.
On Sunday afternoon, we all headed out for me to snap a few family photos. The last time I had done them was 8 years ago. It was time. I did my brothers family photos first, then my sister, Courtnie's family and then finished off with the extended family photo that we were all wanting. Amanda and I will do our photos when its warmer out.
Of course the brothers all had to finish it off with their own individual style...
And just to be hilarious.. Brian quickly photoshoped this and sent it to my brother Ty...
Oh my goodness lol. We all got a good laugh. I love the relationship Tyler and Brian have! At the end of Tyler's photos, he asked if he could take a picture of his girls with me. These photos mean more to me than he will ever know. Love these two girls SOOOOO much and am so grateful to be their auntie!
The weekend was a blurr and went way too fast but we literally hung out with family as much as physically possible and I am glad we did. Courtnie and Mark left for Mantitoba after dinner on Sunday and there were a few tears shed from my little nephew, Dustin. But also, from our sweet Penny when we got home. We all wish they lived closer and that we could do this more often but feeling thankful for the time we had this weekened with them.
