Keeping on.

So many things happen in our day to day that often get celebrated in the moment and then overlooked but those are the memories I sometimes love the most. On January 22nd, Bentley lost another tooth! Im glad we're still in this phase of life with the tooth fairy. It really is the little things.

We dont get many free nights so when we do, we take full advantage. This one particular night, Bentley and I made duck tape wallets. Kids used to do this when I was in Junior High. It was so fun do watch a video of how its done and do it with my Bentley. He is awesome to hang out with, I am the luckiest!

Our little Penny also has a new thing... shes a little bit of a hypochondriac ... if you say you have a runny nose, she will too. Or if she hears someone feels sick.. she panics that she too is sick or will become sick. Its been tricky. Just yesturday she told me she had a sore throat (I got a sore throat on Sunday so it was totally possible). So I kept her home from school. Turns out, by 9:30am she was completely cured and felt great. We chalked it up to just needing a day and we spent the day together doing things around the house. Its a little tricky trying to know whats real and whats "the boy who cried wolf". Hopefully this little phase doesn't last too much longer.

My sister had surgery a couple of weeks ago so Ive been hanging out with my nephews lots the last little bit. It has been SO MUCH FUN. They are so cute and say the funniest things. Its been a real pleasure to have this extra time with them.

I am so grateful for nights off. The ones we can make a fun dinner and watch a family movie or play a game. On Sunday, Penny set up a whole movie theater experience. She made us tickets (that we had to have her scan) and popcorn vouchers (that she also had to scan) and made it a whole vibe with her signs everywhere. She's the best.

I am really cherishing this time and these memories. I still love this lower key January vibe but am also looking forward to getting back into the busy photo season and all the blessings life keeps offering.
