On the very last day.
On the very last day of summer, when all our friends went out of town for the long weekend and all the inner city kids had already went back to school the kids and I went to check out Cobbs Adventure Park. To be honest, we went for the animals but the entire thing was awesome from start to finish!
The moment we got there, it was STRAIGHT to the Alpacas! Penny's current Favourite (well, a Lama.. but they're the same thing-ish right?!). She was SOOOOO happy when she learned how friendly they are. "Wait? You can touch them?!"..."Can you hug them!?" She was VERY VERY happy!! This guy was named "Cam" we liked him! We also really like Coco. He was cute too.. We loved Scarlett the Pig and alll of the Kangaroos!! They were so so soft and totally happy to take snacks that we shared. Then we saw what bentley came to see! The Tortoise! This guy was faster than any of us expected and snagging a photo was tricky because he would turn around and "run" lol He was cute. And then is was Carter's turn. He got to cuddle the reason he wanted to be there... the Python Snake. He was on Cloud nune! The entire park was really cool and we're excited to go back. We tried almost all of it but it was over 30 degrees and SOOOO HOT! Almost unbearable BUT the day was perfect because it was dead. No lines, no people, felt just like the four of us. We even managed to get on the hottest, slowest, most boring train ride... at least we all thought it was boring and we got some good laughs over it. Man I love hanging out with these three! I can't believe summer is over. I can't believe we had such an amazing summer together and now Im sending my three best friends back to school. So many emotions. I am so happy and proud of the people they are becomming but also trying to grasp every moment of life that is offered with them. I love them so much.
Onto the next new chapter of school and assignments and basketball!
