Best Friend Day
Penny and Ari are the cutest! They have been best friends for a few years and even though they don't go to the same school it doesn't slow their friendship down. They are one of a kind and so fun together.
I promised the girls we could do an entire day and late over sometime this summer so yesturday, we made it happen! They played from 10am to 9pm and had "the best day ever!"
We started the day off at the grocery store. I took the girls and let them pick out what was going to be for lunch, dinner and movie snacks for the evening. They worked together and picked out hot dogs for lunch, spaghetti for dinner and oreos, candy and chips for dessert and snacks.
After sorting out the meal situation, we went to at the lake. It was fun, we didn't stay too long.
The boys hung out together which is always such a treat when they find a friend in each other. It is my favourite.
Those pictures make me smile so much. Man I love those boys! After the lake we ate lunch and then the girls requested painted nails and matching hair so we did just that! They sat down together and chose nail polish colours and hairstyles that could be the exact same. They're so cute.
Then they added the extra special touch on their perfected hairstyles by having some fun on the slip and slide, in the sprinkler and in the hot tub (which is really a cool tub during the summer months!)
These two girls had the best day! They finished the day off by watching the new Zombies 3 movie in a little fort that they made together. I am so happy Penny has this cute little bestie. They are so fun together. It was fun having her for the day, Im sure they could have played for hours and hours longer!
