Built in best friends!
Ok, summer has started off GREAT so far! We have had some really hot weather and been in non stop fun mode.
Today we met up with my sister for an epic morning at the new splash park. We were there for nearly 4 hours and it was marvelous!
I know Ive said it a million times but I love getting cousins together. It makes me so happy to see their little friendships build knowing that they will be for a lifetime. Plus hanging out with my built in best friend, my sister, always brings me joy.
Speaking of cousins, a couple of nights ago we met up with the other half of their cousins at our lake. All of Brian's siblings joined us at the lake for an evening swim. It was the best. We had music playing, kids running around, water being splashed everywhere and it was just such a hot evening. Can we just repeat that every night this summer?
We even went to the lake on a not so hot day with one of Penny's best friends, Ariana, and I was surprised they got in that freezing cold water.
Along with all the fun, we've also had some time to just chill and be lazy and its been wonderful!
I just truly am so thankful summer is here! However, we are halfway through July and we still haven't done one thing on our summer bucket list.. seems as though we have too many fun activities to distract us! This is simply the best!
