Until the bitter end
Uh.. FINALLY school is out for summer!! This year, maybe because Spring was so busy, I just couldn't wait for summer!! I am so excited to have the kids home everyday and get to do some fun adventures with them!
It took a hot minute to organize everything for the very last day but I pulled it off and am so thankful to be in summer! Teachers gifts were handed out on the last day. Our kids like giving special gifts to their teachers and truly all their teachers have been wonderful this year so its always a pleasure! Our kids also LOVED the idea of a formal summer bucket list like we did last year so I did it again this year. They have been asking for weeks to see the list and it didn't dissapoint! This summer is going to be awesome! I set out last day of school treats and an extra special one for Carter. He is officially done elementary school! How is it possible that we have a kid in Junior High now?! Its always so sad to say goodbye to teachers who you really connect with and who love your kids all day every day for you when they're at school. This year, Carter had Mrs. Van Horn. She is one of a kind and SOOOOOO amazing! I didn't get a picture of her and him because #toocoolforschool..... so I only got this one of him and his buddies.. Bentley had Mr. Ellis for grade 4. Mr. Ellis is amazing. He really is the perfect grade 4 teacher. Carter was lucky enough to have him too but we were sad to learn that hes moving and going to a new school in the fall. We will miss him so much! As for Penny, she had some serious highs and a couple of lows in grade 2 but all in all made some great friendships and had good teachers and is so excited to move into grade 3 next year!! And of course, we had to get a new yearly photo with her best friend, Ariana, who is no longer at the same school. These girls have kept their friendship tight all year and are so fun together. I am so excited its summer and can't wait to make some awesome memories with my three best friends! Peace out school! See you in the fall!
