Celebrating Penny!
There is nothing I love more than celebrating our kids and surrounding my everyday with them. In a couple of days, our Penny Girl turns SEVEN! I can hardly believe it. She is seriously the best girl on the planet and we were so happy that we got to celebrate her with a big birthday party with her friends!
We asked Penny what kind of birthday party she wanted this year and it was a quick and simple "POOL PARTY!!" She knew exactly where she wanted to have it and we booked it right away.
Given this pandemic, there were some hoops we had to jump though that we aren't particularily pleased about but we figured it out and made it happen for our girl.
Invitations were made and sent out and goodie bags were filled.
We counted down the days and the sleeps and she was SO excited! The morning of her birthday could not come fast enough! We got to the hotel and once everyone arrived, the kids got straight into the pool where it was NON STOP fun for the next hour!
After the pool, we went to the resturant where everyone had lunch and cake and sang our favourite girl Happy Birthday!
We did gifts there too and oh boy, was she ever spoiled!
Penny is so easy to love and she is blessed with some of the greatest friends in all the land!
Penny girl, I can't believe you're almost 7. I actually don't even want to believe it so instead I'm going to soak in all the last moments of you being six for a couple of days longer. I love you so much my little angel.
