Shake it!

Oh my heart. Another year and season of Dance is done. We did pull Penny a few weeks early becuase she truly REALLY dislikes dancing over zoom which has been on and off all year. We are SO proud of our little dancer. This year she took just one class because we weren't sure about how it would all go with Covid. She took Acro and has learned so much. She pushed her body to the point of aches but she can also now do a full cartwheel and even a one handed cartwheel and shes working on her headstand. We are so proud of you, Penny!!

Lucky for Penny she got to dance with her little best friend all year! Half way through the year another best girlie came in their class and it was the cutest little trio. Even when they had to split the class into groups with only 5 dancers, they got to stay together.

This made my heart so happy because her one little friend, Arianna, and Penny are attached at the hip. She loves Ari so much. They are even in the same school and same class but next year, Ari is going to a whole new school and Penny's heart is a little broken about it.

So for their last day of dance, I just had to get them together for a few cute photos. I will absolutely be printing one off for Penny and sending Ari with a friendship bracellet. We sure are going to miss seeing her everyday but I am so hopeful that we will be able to keep them in dance or gymnastics together next year so they can still keep this adorable little friendship together.

Its amazing how much these two look alike. They LOVE twinning! They love that they both only have brothers so to them, they are eachothers sister. **Excuse me while I mop up my melted heart**

They are always smiling and giggling together and are both so fun to be around. They also took a little 6 week Decendents Dance class together. They would move in together if we let them lol

So as much as these seem like "End of Dance photos", they're also little best friend photos that these girls can cherish as Ari moves to a new school next year.

We are so grateful for this new dance studio too. Although they were told to close, then to open, then to close and open again and then rearrange class sizes and then start doing class over zoom calls (which, let me tell you, isn't very easy when you're trying to teach cartwheels and handstands!) they were AMAZING. They were flexible and understanding and we are just grateful for their grace and their knowledge that they passed onto Penny.

Its amazing seeing how beautiful life is in the dark moments. When you sit back and focus on the the good. God is good.
