Thankful.

There are so many things to be thankful for despite this 2020 chaos we live in right now but above anything else in my life, I am thankful for my family. Every part of who I am revolves around them.
This was a really busy weekend for me. I had a big photoshoot on friday evening and then first thing Saturday morning I headed out to Carbon AB (closer to drumheller) for another big shoot. We hosted my side of the family for thanksgiving dinner on Saturday so the moment I got home, it was go time. Luckily my parents were all hands on deck and had everyting going and under control. It was nice to have everyone over. We missed my sister in Manitoba and Grandma Mockler wasnt able to join us but it was good to see everyoe else and just hang out. The kids LOVE having all their cousins over and played in the house, in the hot tub, at the park and in the backyard. It really was such a lovely day.

Sunday morning I had another couple photoshoots and we had some friends over in the evening so it was another busy day. Monday we had Thanksgiving dinner with Brian's side of the family. Again, it was nice to see everyone. We had a more social distanced type of dinner but regardless, it was SO good to see everyone together. We sure miss everyone.

This weekend was so busy. So busy, but Brian had the whole weekend off work and it was so good to cuddle up beside him and push through this weekend together. Last night, things were winding down and we were getting the kids ready for bed. I was helping Bentley and Penny brush and floss their teeth. I was almost finished flossing Bentley's teeth when POP.. out of NOWHERE one of his little teeth popped right out with the floss! Oops! It feels like our kids have lost so many teeth in the last couple of months!

Im happy the kids are all back in school today. I am so thankful for wonderful family and friends. It was a lovely Thanksgiving and I am stuffed of turkey! Now just to sleep through this food coma.

Happy Thanksgiving 2020!!
