Gettin' Spooky!

Well, things are getting Spooky (or "Mooky" as 2 year old Bentley would call it) over here. This week is so busy for us with Halloween parites, costume parties, basketball, dance, piano.. the list goes on! We are in full Halloween swing over here! Mr. Skelly has joined us at the dinner table for the last two weeks and honestly, we will miss him sitting on that chair when Halloween is over!

Yesterday, we carved pumpkins as a family. This has never been my favourite tradition (its so messy!!) BUT our kids LOVE it and so we will always do it! Its fun watching them all be grossed out when grabbing out the pupkin guts!

Brian and I helped the kids but Carter and Brian worked side by side and made such a fun pumpkin! They were so happy with how each pumpkin turned out!

This Thurday is the kids last day of school for the week because Friday is a PD day so thursday is the day they get to wear costumes to school and because we cant send in any treats to share with the class (thank you Covid) the teachers have asked everyone to send in a special halloween treat (just for your kiddo) in their lunchbag.. so this is what the kids are getting surprised with.. I know they will be so excited!

We are looking forward to this busy, awesome, exciting week! And at the end of it all, Bentley turns EIGHT! I can't believe it!
