I just need to pause for a quick moment and highlight this little mommy. I never want this phase to end. Penny is the sweetest little 5 year old. Literally, the sweetest!! She is mature beyond her years and sometimes we have to remind ourselves that she really is ONLY five. She is compassionate and caring and can often see the bigger picture. She is an angel to this little family of ours and although I always wanted her, I never really knew how much I needed her.
One of my Favourite things about Penny is that she loves her baby doll, Maverick, more than anything else. She is always mindful of him and brings him everywhere we go!
Tomorrow, Penny and I are going on a well deserved girl date while the boys go exploring in Kananaskis with Brian. We are getting her hair trimmed at 9am, pedicures at 10am and then she begged me to go to superstore to buy her dolly some more baby diapers. I have a few other little surprises in mind and we will absolutely make our way to the playground too. I can't wait to spend some one on one time with my little lady.
