Big Hill Springs!
There are some places that you visit once and say "I will ALWAYS come back here" and then YEARS fly by and you never go back. Why does this happen? Almost like after the more time that passes, the more you forget how amazing a place is. This is what happened with Big Hill Springs. I LOVE this place. It's not to far from where we live and its amazing!
It's not a hike, more of a place to explore. We packed a lunch for the car and brought a container and bug nets and off we went!
Big Hill Springs is literally magical. Like a fairy land full of pixie dust! Thats the best way to describe it.
We jumped over the creek and played in the mini waterfalls. The kids caught bugs and played together. It was just as amazing as I remember it being.. except last time I went, I was shooting a wedding and didn't have the kids with me.
Not every creek we crossed was successful though... At least his feet stayed cool....
So.. boots off!
They found lots of little bugs including catching (with their nets!) a wasp, a fly, a baby lady bug, a butterfly and a grasshopper!
I want to freeze time, I love this age and exploring with them so much!!
On the way home we quickly stopped at the Glenbow Ranch and it was filled with beautiful views. So grateful for this city we live in.
