2373 Meters
Last weekend we took yet another long drive to yet another hike! We are LOVING these little adventures. This mini hike in particular was INCREDIBLE! It was short and looks more difficult than it really is. Its a short distance from where we parked and a fun little scramble up the rock to access the summit ridge of Hailstone Butte. We were 2373 meters up and it was AMAZING!!!
Just as I was trying to snap a picture of the kids with Brian at the very top, a HUGE CLOUD starting coming right for us. Almost like a cloud wall about to suck us in. It was incredible to see. As soon as the cloud hit, you couldn't see the valley anymore and it got freezing!
We played around for as long as our little freezing ears could handle. It even starting hailing little tiny pellets all around us. It really was the coolest experience and such a short hike. Because it's a pretty steep climb, going back down was even faster because we could hardly keep up with our own feet.
They really are the best little adventurers! Man, we love them!!!
