Heart Throb!
Valentines, Oh Valentines. I like you. I love this special day where everything is about LOVE! Not just your significant other, but about your kids, your pets, your family and friends.. even maybe treats.. ok, always treats! This day we celebrate love and I LOVE IT!
This Valentines was way more focused on the kids. We're still trying to develop our basement so after Brian and I put the kids to bed we spent our valentines down in the basement finishing up all the trim until midnight.. romantic right!? lol
The kids were SO excited to have school and be able to hand out their little Valentines treats! Penny gave some adorable little rainbow valentines. Bentley gave awesome snap bracelets and Carter gave out replica shark tooth necklace!
I made Penny's hair into a heart and she got to bring a treat for her class to have during their afternoon Valentines movie. She was super happy that morning.
While they were at school I did all their chores so they didn't have to do them when they got home from school and also surprised them with a cute little treat on each of their beds.
Brian and I don't typically do much on valentines but this year we went with the kids to a delicious pizza place (Blaze Pizza), did the basement (like I mentioned) and exchanged little cards. Brian really is everything to me!
Ive got to be Brians Valentine for the last 15 years and I love the reality of being his valentines forever more. I am cherishing that the kids are still asking me to be their Valentine and as long as they ask me, I'm going to try to be the best dang Valentine there is! I LOVE these three so so much!
