A Dozen!

Brian and I have been married a dozen years! Thats all sorts of wonderful and all kinds of "I need more!!". I still feel like the luckiest gal alive. I still long for him to come home from work so we can be close. I LOVE cuddling every night while we fall asleep and I love waking up beside him. I miss him when he's not around and I could NEVER EVER get sick of him.

Although, we really have been married for 12 years, so I send him my grocery list via text message when I can't find a piece of paper and he knows just to ignore it. He knows that I am emotional and cry on a dime. He can sense my anxiety and depression before it happens and knows exactly how to handle it.

One thing I really do love about us is our ability to communicate and compromise. I have learned that this trait rarely comes easy and often takes a lot of swallowing your pride but it also comes with an abundance of blessings. We agree to disagree and try our best to see the other side of the coin.

I couldn't imagine living this life and eternity with any one else. Brain, you literally are my other half. You have my heart and you protect it. I love you through and through. I will choose you every day. I will choose you on easy days and I will choose you on hard days. Its always been you and will always be you. I love you.

Out of respect for our 12 years together, I feel like its most appropriate to mention a dozen things I love about Brian.

1. Somehow he always has a funny video to show me. Sometimes its annoying but most of the time, its super funny and always makes me laugh.. even when I am trying not to.

2. He loves me despite my flaws

3. He has SO MUCH ambition and love of life! Always trying to think of new things and planning our whole future one search page at a time.

4. He supports me in all my hobbies, my shopping therapy and when life just gets too hard, he's always there.

5. He laughs at all my jokes

6. He knows I like to brush my teeth with hot water so when its my turn to spit, he pushes the toggle over to Hot.

7. He supports my strong and unbreakable relationship with my mom and sister which is a MUST in every area.

8. He is literally THE BEST Dad in the whole wide world for our kids. And although they often criticizes him and say "Mom does it like this" or "Dad.... you didn't put enough milk" or "you put too much milk" he just continues to try and loves them regardless of anything else.

9. He supports our family like a champion! We had always had the goal for me to stay home with the children in their younger years and this never would be possible without his amazing work ethic and incredible ability to support us financially and emotionally the moment he walks through the door.

10. He gives the best massages!

11. He will pick a comedy 9 out of 10 times we watch a movie. Not because he loves them, but because I love them.

12. That no matter how many years we spend together, I know, it will never be enough.

I love you so much Brian Reed. We really are so lucky, I will never take you for granted, you are the LOVE OF MY LIFE! Happy anniversary!
