She's SIXTY
She has been such a rock in my life. I call her to vent without judgement. She lets me cry and only feels empathy for me and when I just need to over indulge in chocolate after a terrible day, she tells me to do it! She truly is one of my very best fiends and she is an amazing Mother. 
This year for my Mom's birthday my Dad is sending her to Vegas with my Grandma (they are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!!) but we still wanted to celebrate her special day so on Friday evening, my parents, my sister, Logan, Brian and I all went to the Lake House (one of her favourite restaurants!) for a lovely dinner.
It was SO nice to just hang out, adults only, and visit. Dinner was so yummy and dessert was incredible.
My sister and I coordinated a special birthday gift for her this year. I mean, it is her 60th after all. We organized 6 special gifts to take care of herself for the amazing 6 decades she's been here taking care of everyone else. Here is how it was all organized.

Mom, you will never know how much we love you, how much we appreciate you and how much we need you. You are amazing, kind, loving, brave, strong and you are enough. I can talk to you about anything. Actually my entire life I have been able to talk to her about everything and its been amazing.
I know that 60 is just a number for you because you don't seem a day over 40! You are active and healthy and strong and a go-getter and a great example to us all. I love you so much Mom. Happy 60th Birthday!
