Beach Bums

Ahhh, beautiful beach season has arrived and we are LOVING it! We spent 5 hours at the lake on Saturday and it was glorious! Our van is broken and in the shop so we are driving a rental that can't be covered in sand so it forced us to walk to the lake. The walk was really enjoyable. We're so used to driving but walking was actually way nicer! This adorable beach crew is what really made it awesome!





We got to the lake right in the middle of the day and it was GLORIOUS! So hot and a nice little breeze and the kids got straight to playing while I set up!











The water literally felt like glacier water but in true kid fashion, they did not care!





We had a little picnic lunch and I loved every minute with these three cuties!









We were happy that Lena and Jarren brought the kids to hang out for a bit too! Always such great company and these kids lOVE their cousins so much!





















We are really looking forward to more beach days, hot days, summer days, alllll the dayyysss!!! Minus the walk home.... that was frustrating and by then I wished we had the van back lol It cant always be roses right?!
