Ending 2018 on a hight note

Tomorrow when we wake up it will be a bran new year. New goals and resolutions. New motivation and a ton of hope for a spectacular year but I'll save all my thoughts on that for tomorrow.

Today, I catch up on finishing off 2018 on a high note. Brian's had a couple of days off over the holidays and its been AMAZING! We have really missed family time with his new work schedule although we are so grateful for this new job and the wonderful people he works with.

This past weekend we went to Banff and Canmore to explore and to swim. I only took one picture the entire day which is kinda a bummer now but I enjoyed every single moment with my family so its ok.

On Saturday we went tubing at Canada Olympic Park and it was SO MUCH FUN! I totally would go again and although it was crazy busy, it was still so worth it! We went with the McCollum family which is always fun, our kids all get along so well.

The best part about it was having Brian with us. I feel like so many adventures that the kids and I do, we often are just us while Bri works so this was the cherry on top for sure! Love you Brian Reed!

Saturday night, Penny's dream came true. She LOVES makeup but isn't aloud to wear it so I let her give herself (and me) a makeover. I was surprised how she took on the challenge. She wanted FULL direction on what to use first and how it is applied properly. She didn't even look like a clown like I kinda fully expected at the end of it all. She acted like she was a full on teenager applying her makeup and taking her time. (PLEASE STOP GROWING UP!!!!)
