A snowy pumpkin patch
The days we get to spend as a family are precious to me. Between Brian's full time work hours including Saturdays and my part time photos for clients, coordinating a day takes some planning! We blocked off Thanksgiving Monday to spend the day as a family, no matter what the weather. We had made plans to go to the Calgary Corn Maze and pumpkin Patch, our yearly tradition. This year though, it was FREEZING... and snowing.. but we bundled up and had a blast anyway.

The kids got to go on a pony ride. Penny LOVVVVVEEEDDDD this part of the day! She was in complete heaven! The boys though.. they will tell you it was "ok" or "good" but they were happy dancing inside too. I just know it!

The big carpet slide is a family favourite for sure even if it felt like our faces were going to freeze off.

This year, the corn maze added a couple of new fun things, including this rope obstacle course which was FULLLL of mud but really fun anyway!

We all had such a fun time. Honestly, nothing makes me happier than spending time with Brian and our kids. That for me, is true happiness.

The amount of dirt on their snowsuits, gloves, hats and even their faces was crazy and completely unavoidable!

We had mini donuts, hot chocolate and visited the pumpkin patch.

And just before the kids picked out their own mini pumpkin to take home, we went and saw the pumpkin explosion and candy cannon! They LOVED this!

At this point, my hands were so cold I couldn't stand to snap one more picture. We had such fun time and I can't wait to go again next Thanksgiving weekend because these are the four crazies I love to be with most!
