Summer Pool Party

So we are all still enjoying our summer bucket list but I am finding myself almost making excuses to be able to check things off lol.. Call it the OCD in me or maybe the relief you feel as you check off any kind of list.. this feels similar. Nevertheless, we are plugging forward making it happen! The boys put "Pool Party" on their list this summer. Last week I was babysitting my niece, Lucy, and my nephew, Reed, and the weather was beautiful so we decided to make it a Pool Party in the backyard. The kids helped me set up our pool and fill it with massive water balloons and honestly, SO MUCH FUN was had!

















I made the water balloons SO BIG thinking the kids surely wouldnt be able to pick them up out of the pool but i was soooo wrong. Holy Moly, kids are strong!!







The boys were mostly into the snacks and sun tanning (I have no clue where my boys get thing from because I do not like sun tanning at all and in fact, I always am looking for shade to be in.)









While the little girls were having the time of their life together! Seriously, Lucy and Penny are really good little friends but I have never heard them laugh together like I did that day! They were SO LOUD and had such deep belly laughs, it was AMAZING!







They all had hours of fun and it was so fun for me to just let them run wild!













It was the perfect day for a backyard pool party!
