Today she melted my heart.

OH MY HEAVENS! There are moments when I say "Having a girl really isn't any different than a boy.. other than dressing her of course" but today was different. Having my little girl is so special. She brings so much light and love (and the colour pink!) into our home! She is sassy and also has THE BIGGEST crocodile tears. If you raise your voice at her, she will cry. If she makes a mistake and you point it out, she will cry. She is sensitive and loving. Oh so loving. And her motherly character was shining bright today!

This morning, I cleaned out the basement with the kids while Brian was working. We cleaned and organized and in the midst of the chaos, we found some of penny baby doll clothes. She was so excited and the moment she found her baby's swim suit, her eyes lit right up and the biggest smile appreared on her face. She immediately declared "My baby have same swim-suit as me!!!!" and then ran upstairs to find hers.



We put it on right away and luckily she was so excited for me to take some pictures of her and her baby matching! I could not resist the cuteness!!



She was so gentle to her baby. She rocked her and burped her and held her with so much love. Honestly, my heart completely melted in that moment.



My sweet darling Penny girl, you mean the world to me!



Because both Penny and her baby were in swimsuits, she insisted on having a bath with her baby. How could anyone ever say "no" or "later" to that, so I stopped what I was doing and paused life to soak in her happiness. I cant even tell you how full my heart is.







She was SOOOOO excited to be swimming with her baby. She loves her little baby dolls more than anything. Luckily for me, she will always be my baby.
