George is ELEVEN!
Our little George is 11! To be honest, the poor thing really has the "lady and the tramp" story. Before we had kids, George was our "baby" he came to work with me as a puppy and we carried him around like a baby. He had treats on a daily basis too. Then.. his worst nightmare... we had kids. Three of them, and poor George just became "the dog".

And actually.. for a week Ive been telling everyone that George just turned 12 but actually he's just 11... Wow! Im failing at this!

For his bday, he had mini photoshoot (The backdrop was already set up since Im waiting for a little baby to come to my studio this week so I figured... why not!?

Im not sure he was very impressed with the whole thing but once every few years, its nice to have a good picture of him! George has always been wild and crazy. He is a good boy BUT likes to bark. He hates when people try to pick him up (unless its me or Brian) and get nervous when kids pet him (Probably because he learned the hard way that sometimes little kids pull hair). His favourite toy is the cow that Santa brought him and he still plays "fetch" often!

And lets not forget his famous howl! He is good at it and if you howl.. he will too!

Before I dropped off Carter at school yesterday, he told me I had A LOT of planning to do for George's special day! To satisfy Carter we made George a nice dinner. This NEVER happens! Seriously, never, but last night we made him chicken with a side of salad and carrots (his fav!)

He of course devoured it!

For his "Cake" we made him a homemade apple cheddar cupcake (thank you pinterest!)

The kids were excited to sing him happy birthday! We put a sparkler in his little cake and started singing! BIG MISTAKE though.. oops! We should have known that George would dismiss the sparkler and go straight for the cake.

The poor boy got WAY too close to the sparkler and burnt his hair off!!!

Our entire house literally smelt like burning hair. Gross. We gave him a bath and luckily it didn't go right to his head, just made his hair a little shorter on the one side. Oh George. Carter made sure to give him extra cuddles after his bath and said it was a great evening for George! Success! Heres to another year with our crazy little four legged family member!

Love you George!
