Easter Round 2!
Easter is a wonderful holiday! I love it mostly because we truly learn about the sacrifice our saviour made for us and we try to teach the children about the true reason behind celebrating Easter. We teach them about Jesus Christ. His atoning sacrifice and his resurrection and what all those things mean for us today. Its easy to say, we LOVE easter!
This year I did WAY TOO MANY easter pics of the kids. But seriously, once I got started, I couldn't stop! They're so cute I couldn't help myself! Bentley really is becoming quite goofy around the camera. Almost feeling shy or awkward and his smile shows it! Unless I crack a joke, he's giving me the awkward smile lol

Bentley even decided to name the little chick "Michael". I have no clue how he came up with that name. He has a best friend named Brayden who's dads name is Michael but I don't think he know that. Either way, we welcomed "Michael"!
Penny is really starting to love getting her picture taken! FINALLY I might add! Remember the days when she would cry and totally tantrum with giant crocodile tears anytime she saw my camera. Well, thankfully, those days are over and she's loving the attention that photos bring and I couldn't be happier about it!

When Carter got home from school we made sure to snap a few more outside with him. He really is turning into a little stud muffin and he too cooperates pretty good for pictures thankfully!

Easter Sunday this year was packed full of fun! The easter bunny left each of them an umbrella this year filled with little goodies like a book, a little sand filled reptile, some kids jewellery for penny and pokemon card for the boys and of course a kinder egg and a couple of little chocolates. They were so happy when they saw it!

We rushed off to church after the disaster of homemade waffles.

Right after church, we headed over to my parents house for easter dinner. My mom set the tables so cute.. again! And I was so excited about each getting a chocolate easter bunny! (Adults can get excited over easter chocolates too right!?)

We even shared this easter with our newest little family member, Maverick, for his first easter! We are so lucky!

And at the end of it all, my parents handed out easter buckets to each of the kids. SPOILED!! Dinner was so yummy! My parents went of the traditional turkey at easter path and served the most amazing steak and potatoes. Seriously.. AMAZING! It was great food, great company and the kids were even pretty well behaved... sometimes lol
This Easter, I am thankful to be surrounded by family and our children and chocolate! Im grateful for our saviour and what his sacrifice means for all of us. He is risen.
