Aggie Days and Easter Eggs
This past weekend was so fun. Year after year we hear about an event in Calgary called Aggie Days and year after year, we miss it. This year through was different! We made plans and finally got out to it! Because it was a free event, it was crazy busy and with three little kids .. scratch that.. we went with friends so NINE little kids.. it was BUSY but really fun!

We decided not to bring the stroller because Penny is so busy she likely wouldn't sit in it anymore anyways and she was all over the place. I felt a little stressed and felt like I was constantly doing a head count to make sure I had them all.

(Carter REALLY enjoys making silly faces in pictures .. even when I say "just a normal smile".. this is what he gives me.. maybe thats his new normal!? lol)
Aggie days was FULL of fun stuff for kids! Baby animals, a horse show and so much more! This sweet little chick was only ONE DAY OLD! (Poor thing!)

Bentley too was a crazy busy body which really kept me on my toes since usually he is the "calmer" one.

The kids even got to feed chickens which they LOVED and thought was hilarious!

Before we left, each of the kids made a cute little craft that they were all very proud of!

By the end the kids were all over the place! Running around and not staying very close anymore but we had eye appointments to get to anyway so we decided to head out. It was so much fun though and hopefully we can make it again next year.
Sunday was Mom Reed's easter dinner and easter egg hunt. My kids could hardly sleep the night before they were SO excited for the annual easter egg hunt! Dinner was AMAZING! Ham, potatoes, carrots, salad.. and Mom must have had a sweet tooth because for dessert she offered.. blueberry pie, hot cross buns AND carrot cake! Choosing which one to eat was difficult!
After dinner, the guys all went outside to hide the eater eggs while we stayed in to help the kids get ready and play a short game. All so fun! The Easter egg hunt began and even though it was kinda wet and raining outside, not one person cared.. it was a blast!

Of course the moment it was over the kids rushed inside to open their eggs and devour all the candy.

The insane sugar rush by the end of the evening was a real thing for our kids! We really had such a great time. Our tummies were full, our hearts were full.. we are so blessed and next weekend, we do it all again with my family!
