June has begun!
What a fun last two weeks. It has been busy but we've been getting out lots and enjoying the wonderful weather and company! Last weekend, Brian and I took the kids on a little hike. It was small but beautiful and the kids did great!

All the kids walked with minimal whining (YAY!)! Even Penny girl was a huge trooper, But i did have to dress her in jeans because her poor knees just cannot take any more scratches until they heal a little. She walked nearly the whole way except the last half of a kilometre.. she has a mini meltdown in the middle of the trail and then I had to carry her back to the car.

We also participated this year in the Walk to fight arthritis. If you didn't know, Brian has arthritis. His sister also has it (but a different kind) and his cousin does as well. They all got it super young. We think about it often and worry our kiddies will have it too. Its a trial, but they all are truly such champions, let me tell you! Brian's sister, Lena, has done the walk for a few years now and this was our first time and I think we will do it every year! It was great to see how many champions we have in our city who suffer with arthritis. Young, old and in-between.

On Monday it was plus 30 and so it was HOT! We joined Lena and Meghan at Lena's spray park in the morning before it got too hot. The kids always have fun with Lucy and Penny is obsessed with baby Reed.

Then we went home and while Carter was at school and Penny napped, Bentley and I set up the pool that we bought last year and it was so refreshing!!

And we even squished in Reed Family Photos last weekend too. It was a super busy weekend! The pictures turned out great and the kids were all great!

All the Girls..

All the Guys...

The Original Reed Siblings..

Us in laws.. or "Better halves" as we like to say....

And the little ones!! Each expression makes Me Laugh so much! (from left to right.. Evie (2), Sawyer (4), Carter(5), Penny(1), Reed(6 months), Bentley(3), Lucy(2), Marsden(6))

This weekend should be more relaxed with a little cooler weather but as long as we're together, we're good!
