Love is in the air!
Can we just pause for a moment before I get started on the sappy love post for Valentines (I know Im a few days early!) and just take a fresh breath of air and soak in the cuteness please!?
My mother in law is an incredibly talented woman. Not only can she turn a 24 hour day into a 62 hour day (Seriously she can accomplish so much in one day its crazy!) but she can sew anything and is so selfless, ready to help anyone and everyone! Remember when she sewed my boys a couple of capes? Well, she didn't stop there! She made each of her granddaughters an adorable Elsa dress and she gave Penny's hers on Sunday. Today I put it on her and.. OH MY HEAVENS!.. my heart nearly stopped at the cuteness! It fit her perfectly and Penny LOVES it!

I even was able to manage her very first (Elsa) braid to go with it!

She pranced around the back deck with it on for nearly 30 minutes, basking in her beauty! What a little cutie Pie! Thank you SO much Mom Reed for making her feel so special!
Ok! Back to the sappiness! Valentines day this year seems like its all week! With School being out Thursday and Friday and swimming tomorrow in school, Carter's Kindergarten class celebrated valentines today! Carter and I made cute little straws for him to hand out to his class mates and he signed all 21 of them!

Then we made some sugar cookies and an extra big heart one for Ms. Huxtable and Carter decorated it for her! He sure loves his teacher! And Bentley decorated a couple as well.

Yesterday I tried to be ambitious and take a few Valentines pictures of my littles .. you know.. just to stress myself out.. and it went well.. as you can tell....

Hahaha! Poor Penny.. she was not into it at all and it was impossible to get the boys to smile nice.. together... at the same time...

And finally after WAY TOO much effort (and STRESS!) I was able to snap ONE precious picture!

All kidding aside and no matter how hard pictures are of my own children, I must admit that they are THE CUTEST little Valentines that I could ever have! Each one of them have their very own personalities, they are strong willed and stubborn and are going to do big things when they get older and I am so blessed to call them mine.
SO, Carter, Bentley & Penny... will you be my Valentines?
Next is Brian. (Seriously, this is your warning.. its going to get real juicy and super sappy.. so stop reading now if you're not into that!)
I cannot imagine my life without him. His smile. His laugh. His touch. Every.Single.Thing about him... I adore. He works hard for our family. He works so hard so I can stay home and raise our children. It is because of him we have a beautiful home, food on our table and clothes to wear and there are no amount of words to say to speak my appreciation of that.
Brian and I have such a deep connection. He know every single inch of my soul and I know his. We are best friends, partners in crime and both have such a deep love for each other, it really is a beautiful thing. I feel so lucky that Brian was my first.. and that he will be my last. I love that I got him when we were just "kids" .. he was hot headed and stubborn, the boy who loved his little white civic and blue Honda accord. The one who drove straight through a bush at school and jumped the curve just to cut the line leaving the parking lot. I can still see his little wink at me as we passed in the hallways in between classes before we started dating. I love that I get those memories.
I also love that I get these memories. Not only did I get the boy, I also get the man. I get the amazing father to our children. The selfless man who works hard to build the life we have. I get to be beside him each night and wake up to him each morning. I get that. I am so lucky.
I get the man who I have been madly in love with since the moment I first saw him. I get the man who, when I shattered like glass and was at my lowest point in my life, he picked up the pieces with such grace and put me back together. Could anyone else be as lucky as I am?

Brian Reed, I loved you the moment I saw you. I loved you even more through all of our dating year. I loved you even more the moment we were married and even more when we had our children. Brian I am so madly, deeply and completely in love with you. I could not imagine my life without you. You mean everything to me. So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE babe.. will you be my Valentine?!
