A good day.
Its midnight and my eyes are heavy and burning. This weekend is Thanksgiving and if I don't get this in now, I never will.
Ive tried really hard to record all the little things as well as big things.. but honestly life is busy and three kids is busy. Church is busy, family is busy, photography is busy.. the list goes on so recently its really just been milestones making it into my record we all call a blog but the reality is that from one milestone to the next.. there are good days and bad days in between.
This week was a good week. The kids played well, Penny is getting more and more independent each day it feels like and has NO problem at all making sure that although she can't talk, her opinion is heard!
Lately the boys have been playing "Cash register" and it is SO much fun to watch. I let them go in the pantry and pick out food as though they are shopping and give them plastic bags and old receipts and they each take turns. Its really cute.

Penny mostly loves it because she thinks they got the yummy food down for her .. like those delicious marshmallows she loves!

She also LOVES being outside but will somehow ruin her outfit every single time she plays outside. And when I say ruin.. I mean.. so ruined and stained she can't ever wear it again.. its amazing .. when she plays.. she plays hard! There is no stopping her!
Lately Bentley has been going outside himself and just making up random imagination games and entertaining himself.. I usually open up the window without him noticing so I can listen to his adorable stories he tells himself. Today when Bentley went to play outside himself and shut the door, I was interested to see what Penny was up to. She went to our kitchen table, grabbed Carter's stool and pushed it across the kitchen floor and onto the carpet.. she stepped on top of it and well... watched her big brother outside.. What a clever little lady!

Bentley and Penny share a lot of things too. Aside from their sweet little bond they have with each other, when Bentley wants to relax but his blankie isn't in plain sight.. no worries.. he will just use Penny's blanket and souther..
And well.. Penny does the same thing to him... but he usually notices pretty quickly and takes it back!

Yesterday, Carter also went on his very first field trip! His Kindergarten class went to Safety City! He LOVED it! He was so excited that he wore his bike helmet while we walked to school. Funny guy!
He was super excited to take a school bus for the first time too and he told me he sat beside his buddy Leo (not quite sure who that is just yet, but Carter talks about him lots!)

He said he had such a great day. He was excited to show me the little booklet they got and he said he was excited to go on another field trip one day! So far he is LOVING kindergarten!

And what better way to celebrate a great day then to end it off on a sugar high! Nothing compares to a bowl of fruit loops (no milk) topped with mini marshmallows in this house! (Well, for the kids at least) and they are always so sweet and will both just randomly share with Penny when she walks over to them.

Now on to a great weekend filled with photoshoots, a birthday Party and of course.. thanksgiving dinners!
