Preschool Grad and Daddy Day!

I can hardly believe Carter is done Preschool! This past school year went so so fast and reflecting on it has been wonderful! The year started off with me being 9 months pregnant with Penny and dropping off my little man at preschool. Dropping off Carter was bitter sweet. He loved it and so did I kind of.. I got to spend some much needed alone time with Bentley before the new baby arrived and Carter got to meet some amazing new friends. It gave him a sense of independence and he learned so much. For us, it was well worth $165 a month.

I made some new mom-friends and am sure Ill keep in contact with them. I sure will miss Carter bringing me home all his little crafts and telling me all about his days but am sooo looking forward to summer and then in September.. Carter will be starting Kindergarten! Ah! Pinch me!

I put together a little something for his two teachers who have really shaped the sort of learner Carter has become. I know he will miss them.





And together Carter and I filled this out before his last class.



I dropped him off one last time. He was so excited that summer was starting as soon as his last preschool class was over. The parents were invited to come back 30 minutes early to be there for the last half hour and take pictures so of course, Bentley, Penny and I went to be with Carter. His teachers, Mrs. Priaro and Mrs. Otto gave them all a cute little envelope and said something nice about each child. Carter was sure proud.







And he made his rounds saying goodbye to his cute little friends.





When we got home, we had his favourite dinner.. Cheese Roll Up Wrap (just a cheese wrap really) with a side of cucumbers, and I surprised them each with a Kinder Egg. I put out some balloons for him too which he was super excited about and it was Penny's first time playing with balloons and she was super excited about it!







And of course Bentley with his sever balloon/ball addiction...



When Daddy got home, Carter opened up his envelope from his teachers and found inside a cute little preschool diploma..



..as well as all of his name tags they used over the year and a nice new pair of children's scissors. He was ecstatic!

I am so proud of Carter for everything he accomplished in his first year of preschool. I am excited to watch him succeed more throughout his education and I am so excited to play with him every day this summer! Congratulations to our little buddy! Love you!

Now for another special day! Father's Day! As usual, our day was rushed and hectic but we were together and thats what really counts at the end of the day. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude towards my dad. He has been there for me through thick and thin and still continues to lend me his truck every other day, to load up all my junk and even drop it off at the dump... by himself.. with a bad back and a bad neck! Ya! Thats my dad! I know that no matter how much he "hums and haws" about things I ask him to do or help me with, I know I can rely on him. He will always be there for me and he will never truly know how much I love him for that. I love you Dad, happy Father's day!

My other Father is my Father-in-law! He is AMAZING! He treats me just like his own and I know the love he has for his family is great. He has so many words of wisdom and we love to call for advice. He doesn't judge, he helps. He doesn't talk you down, he lifts you up and really is such an incredible father and I am so proud to say he is one of mine. I carry the "Reed" name with so much pride and love that I am a Reed! Happy Father's Day!



And now for the sappy part! Brian, you have no idea how much I love you. I love you for so many things.. like being an amazing friend and husband, for always making me laugh and holding me close when I need it the most.. but above everything, I love what an incredible Father you are to our children. You hold them, hug them, tell them they are special and that they matter. You give them confidence and you show them self-worth. Brian, you are an amazing Daddy. They love you so much. When Penny sees you, she always crinkles her nose and gives you the biggest smile and it melts my heart. The way the boys will cry if you leave for work without giving them a high five, a hug and a kiss.... 7 times. They love you like crazy. Thank you for always supporting our family. For always telling me, that no matter what, it will work out. For telling me that I am a good mother on the nights I go to bed feeling like a complete failure. You really are our rock, and I love you like crazy for it.



I love that we work side by side and hand in hand raising these three beautiful little children we are so lucky to call our own. Happy Father's Day Sweetheart. We really really love you!
