Penny is 8 Months!
And Sunday we celebrated my niece's first birthday, my Mom's birthday and my Sister's birthday.. all in one wonderfully hot day! First with Paisley.
And through all the party shananigans, Brian and I noticed how Carter was eating his hot dog and couldn't help but take a picture.. haha! For the record, he usually eats the hot dog cut up and the bun on the side... but now that he is trying to be a "big kid" and he is still sorting out how to eat a hot dog the "traditional" way lol

I cannot believe that tomorrow she will be one. She is still so teeny tiny but can move like no other one-year-old I know. She's a walking pro now and can climb and really get into anything.. she is so cute and darling and I love that she is my niece!
My Mother's birthday is always special... well to us. She hates her birthday but we love celebrating it and more importantly.. her! We had a lovely BBQ that my dad paid for, Logan and Brian did the cooking and it was all delish! We showered Mom with gifts and I made her this little sign that she had pinned and shared on facebook so many times (**hint received mom lol).
And last but for sure not least, my sister! Its the big 30 this year however since Wednesday is her actual birthday we decided to include her too and gave her our little cards and gifts and of course... cake! Cupcakes to be exact and Im positive she enjoyed them!
For Mom, we got her Date-squares.. just because we can and she loves them!
Birthdays are busy but fun and I am so lucky to celebrate these three special ones with our family!
Today is a special day too because our Penny Girl is EIGHT months old today! Eight months.. WHAT! I love every single thing about this special baby girl.
She is quirky and serious.. Fun and sensitive. She is such a little girl. If George (our little dog) growls around her.. she will cry and take it personally but also will squeal when he comes around her and is happy.
She makes us so Happy!! When we are out and about running errands people always comment on what a good baby she is and yes, I would have to agree.. but at home.. she is mostly a good baby if I am holding her. There isn't much I can do with two arms around here because most of the time, she is on my hip feeling content but the moment I put her down.. she will cry. And i dont mean a little wimper... I am talking about full on crocodile tears, my life is over kind of cry. Silly girl.
Although its hard to get much done around here, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I LOVE that she is attached to her family. Just the way it should be!
She really does make our family feel so complete. She is cuddly and goofy and all we LOVE it!
Penny now has 4 teeth! Her two middle bottom teeth and her top left tooth and the tooth right beside her top right tooth .. which sorta looks strange right now but I can see her top right tooth and Im sure it will break through any day now! She is our latest teething baby and also our latest crawler. She still goes all on fours and rocks all the time and can push herself backwards and can also go from sitting to on all fours and then back to sitting again but she is not yet full out crawling and I would be lying if I said I didn't love that she's not yet. I know it will come sooner than later and Im just cherishing these already busy times with her not crawling around yet.
She also LOVES to stand and thinks its so funny when she stands up holding onto the couch or up against her toys. She's so silly.
And yes... She is so fun to dress up!
We love you so so much Penny. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our little family. We could not imagine our life without you.
