Time.

Time is crazy. Our life is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days.. the list goes on. But sometimes I really wish time could just freeze time. I already miss my baby girl being a small little newborn and cannot believe that in a couple of weeks she will be 6 months old already. She is as cute as a button and really brings so much joy into our little home.





Lately when I put a little headband on Penny, Carter has been asking me so nicely to take it off of her. He says "Mommy, Penny is already so beautiful, she doesn't need that on her head... please take it off." Then when I do, he looks at her and says "That's better Penny, you don't need anything, you are so beautiful already." If only every girl and woman in the world would be told that on a daily basis. Carter really does have such a sweet little soul.. who loves watching Star Wars with his Daddy that is!



Last week was St. Patricks Day and naturally.. I needed to try sewing a new dress and some ties for the kids. We don't usually really celebrate St. Patricks day.. other than jumping on the bandwagon and wearing anything that has the slightest bit of green in it just to say we remembered, but I will celebrate anything to try to improve my dress making skills! This really is turning into a fun hobby for me!







And my heck are they ever cute!!

Also this past week, it snowed! I must admit, I was happy about this snow fall. Because of Penny being so tiny when it was really snowing, I never got the chance to make a snowman with the boys this year.. so you could imagine how excited the boys and I were when we woke up to the sticky snow in the morning! I put penny down for a nap and the boys and I made ... "Olaf" .. Im pretty sure every snowman we build from now on will be named Olaf. The boys were excited to get started but it was WAY to sunny for them to open their eyes for a quick picture before starting!



It didn't take long, the boys were in heaven at their little creation and I felt complete! Now the snow can be gone for the season without feeling guilty of depriving the boys of a snowman this year.





Poor Carter was disappointed when he realized we didn't have any carrots in the fridge for the nose.. so he got really creative in my kitchen... we ended up using rasins for his eyes, a piece of orange pepper for his nose, candy for his mouth and rocks for his buttons lol A wonderful combination if I must say so myself!



I wish I could record our days everyday but then theres that little thing called "time" that rules our life and lately there just hasn't been enough of it, but we do the best we can with the extra time we have.
