Three little Valentines.

This Valentines was one of the very best! Brian and I have three very adorable little Valentines this year and because it was on a Saturday, we spent the entire day on a "date" with them! We ran around town and we even took all three of them to the movie theater to watch Paddington Bear. It was cute and all three kids did great.. even Penny! Seriously though.. who wouldn't want to hang out with them all day.. they are SO CUTE!

My sweet Carter who is SUCH A TROUBLE MAKER.. but also a total heartbreaker! Those eyes get me every single time. One of the best things about Carter is that he knows how to give THE BEST hugs and kisses. Even though he is busy and crazy.. he really is such a sweetie pie!









Oh my darling Bentley. The softest boy out there! Seriously, his skin is SO SOFT! He is (usually) so soft spoken and tenderhearted.. he wants to do EVERYTHING his big brother does.. even if its naughty. I don't know what I would do without him.









Now, my Penny Girl is .. well... Perfect. She is cuddly and smiley and she really just melts my heart on a daily basis. She does like to cry a ton too but she really is my sweet little girl.











And all three together really did make for a perfect Valentines Day.









The day before Valentines the kiddoes and I made some little cookies and drove them all around the south dropping them off to all of their friends and cousins (on their request).. the boys kept telling me that they were the mailman and that they were out to make people happy. (*my heart currently melting*)

Sugar cookies really are such a catch 22. They make SUCH a MESS and take SO LONG to make.. especially when you have little "helpers" wanting to roll the dough ... but they really are so yummy and cute and fun to do with little kids.









And their faces make it all worth it.. and their decorating as well!







Valentines day is also so cliche... but its about the ones we love and I have a lot of love to give this one man in my life. Brian was ultamately my one true Valentine. He is so special to me... he is amazing really. (Here comes the Sappy part) I honestly fall in love with him every single day. He knows how to make me laugh so hard I cry.. he knows how to make me smile and always knows what to say ... minus that one time he called me "Crazy" .. he gets my humour and I really love spending every moment I get to with him. We are so lucky to have each other. And I am so lucky to have such a creative guy who made me such a cute valentines Card!



My card to him was creative but I didn't make it.



We love you so so much Brian, Happy Valentines!



It feels crazy to me that Penny is already 4 and a half months. Where has the time gone! She really is started to shape her own personality and we love it! She is so sweet and so cute!





She is starting to be ok with her Carseat and doesnt cry every time I put her in it anymore.



AND she is finally starting to like the ugly HUGE farm jumper! Both my boys LOVED it right from the start but it took Penny some getting used to .. but she likes it for the most part now and its so nice for me to have a break without the guilt of her on her back all the time flattening her head (I am obsessive about the shape of their heads when they are babies you could say).



And everyone lately has been telling me just how much Carter and Penny look alike. So I found pictures of the boys in the farm jumper at 4 months and Voila...







Yup.. she does look a lot like Carter.. maybe even chubbier? I love having a little girl. Its a fun new dynamic in our home.. our laundry has more colours and we have a ton of PINK and lace and ruffles and I love it all! I love that my mom also saved a few of my clothes and that I can pass them down to Penny now.





We really are so blessed!
