A Crazy December.

I have been a little behind on all our little christmas festivities. This has been by far the craziest December for us. Starting with the first half of the month Carter being sick. One thing after the other. It was exhausting. By week two of his swollen itchy red eyes and stuffy nose, I was starting to feel like him being sick was more of an allergy than anything but really had no clue, I was just frustrated. On the 17th we had both him and Bentley get an allergy test. And just as I suspected. Both are allergic to dogs (Umm yea... we have George... now what?!) and we were able to find out that Carter isnt allergic to anything else other than his peanut allergy being the WORST it can possibly be. It is a for sure severe allergy, poor guy! On December 4th Carter had his very first Xmas concert at preschool. He really did not participate. He stood there with his class but didn't sing. There was a little boy right beside him literally trying to push Carter off the stage... I think his feelings were hurt and when we got home he was totally devastated. Maybe next year will be better!

Our Elf clyde (what a pain in the butt!) has been up to no good. Sticking himself everywhere... some times he doesn't even move... we tell the boys if they were naughty the day before, clyde wont move.





Two weeks ago, we also did some "Kids Christmas baking" with my mom. The idea was GREAT! Sugar cookies, sprinkles, candies and icing... a kids dream really! Unfortunantly my boys and I were having a 'bad" day. The boys has ZERO listening skills.. all day and I had ZERO patience left by 4 o'clock when we started the baking. Long story short.. I had a total breakdown, packed up the kids and left early.

I guess sometimes that happens. I was able to snap a few pictures before completely loosing it though!

















This past week has been insane too! In the past 7 days, we have had 5 commitments to attend to and 7 doctors/dental appointment in the last 3 days. I am exhausted and am so happy to stay home with the kiddoes today in sweats, blogging, cleaning and sewing!

Despite all the crazy appointments, We've also just been doing our regular stuff... like getting into things and being mischievous!







But even with hair glue all over himself, he is still one of the cutest little boys!

We've written our letters to Santa.... ( I held Carters hand and helped him write)





(lol) I love that the boys asked for "Candy" "Chocolate" and "Popcorn" lol for sure my children.

We visited Santa at Brian's kid work Xmas Party where Bentley got a Dump Truck Carter got a train and tracks and Penny got a cute little snowsuit and rattle. Thanks Santa!!









Carter's last day of preschool until after Christmas was yesterday. We made his teachers these mason jars, filled with a couple different flavours of herbal tea and Carter drew a picture of each of his teachers. He loved doing it and his teachers loved it.



As for Brian and I, through all the craziness this month has brought our way we have still found time to spend together and with our little Penny girl each night when her brothers are in bed. She even got some cuddles from Grandma... those are the best!



Penny Had her shots on Tuesday. She FREAKED right out but it didn't last long. She was brave and the cuddles after were just what the doctor ordered. Penny now weighs 11 pounds 12 ounces is 57.5 cm tall and has a perfect round head measuring 38.5cm. She is right around the 50th percentile for height and and head and 43rd percentile for weight.

Overall she is perfect!





Now onto a Crazy busy weekend full of Christmas fun!
