Being Domestic!

I feel like I have so much to catch up on in writing this post yet really not that much has happened. So one thing at a time! Ive been so domesticated. A couple of weeks ago a few of my girlfriends and I got together and did some canning again. Always hectic and crazy but totally worth it. (Thanks Andrea for the pictures of it!)





This year, we canned Peaches



Pears, Tomatoes



and of course.. Pickles!



And in total between the four of us we canned 90 something Jars. CRAZY! In between all this domestic business, we had to slip away for a couple of hours to celebrate our nephews FIRST birthday!! I cannot believe little (Gigantic) Porter is already ONE!! He has such a sweet little spirit, is so curious and really just a huge chunk of LOVE!!! Love you Porter!! Happy First Birthday!!





This past weekend was a crazy one too. Brian was out of town and I was, yet again, being very domestic! My mom, sister and I canned 19 Jars of Crabapple Jelly. OH MY YUM! Its was a busy day with all the kids running around but we got it done and it was amazing! We tried to distract the boys as much as we could and it was pretty successful!

Bentley was napping for the first little bit while Carter was happy to be playing with his playdough.









Taytum was happy playing trains and Porter was distracted "cousin watching" and playing with random toys.





Cutting the apples was the longest part but smelling them boiling was amazing.







The afternoon of the process was good too. Taytum and Porter took their turn napping while we finished making the jelly.







And Silly Bentley... just wanting to sit on the potty (he does it quite often now) but NEVER does any business.. just extremely happy to be sitting on it lol





In the end we got 19 jars of COMPLETELY AMAZING crabapple Jelly.
