31 weeks!
We have been staying crazy busy these days, with wedding photography and all sorts of photo-shoots here and there to family activities and just finding time to be just us and the boys... its been crazy, but really fun! So lets rewind a couple of weeks to 29 weeks!

I did a "natural" maternity photo-shoot with a split lace maternity dress at Elbow falls, Brian was my photographer, and he did such a great job! My friend, Malinda, was my total support and really convinced me to do these more revealing photos that show your every stretch mark and your baby belly bump and just to embrace this moment as a mother-to-be, and I am so glad she did. I will keep those photos to myself and cherish them forever. Thank you so much Malinda for all your encouragement and support! Love you lady!
Carter is really becoming such a ham and totally starting to LOVE the camera! YAY!! He was totally ready to jump in and take some pictures with his mama.... Bentley on the other hand, was WAY to busy snacking on chips with his grandma than to join us in a picture lol cutie.

Love you Bud!
At 28 weeks I started getting sick again... total BUMMER! By 29 weeks, I had puked a couple of times again and my heartburn and nausea has totally come back.. but the two weeks between 26 weeks and 28 weeks was glorious, and I am thankful for the little break! I realized this week that I never posted about the first time I heard this baby's heartbeat! Probably I was puking and way to sick to remember, but we did do a little video!
It was music to my ears, I didn't say anything in the video because I am pretty sure I was crying.. we heard her heartbeat for the first time on March 18 at 9:09pm! It was in the high 160s and I needed that SO SO badly. I was so unbelievable sick at the time and hearing her heartbeat really made me feel like it was more "real" if that makes sense.
We've been having so much fun the last 5 days. Brian was able to take a couple of extra days off work for the long weekend and although we were really trying to get out of town, it never really worked out so we did a little "stay-cation" and do something fun (and inexpensive) each day. We spent a little evening with my parents and made steak and lobster.. YUM!!! The lobsters were live and of course the boys were totally interested...

But much happier eating their Fish and Chips! (One of their Favourite meals!)

On Friday afternoon, we met up with the McCollums and took our passes and headed out to Calaway Park for the later afternoon, Brian met the boys and I there after work and it was so much fun (as always!) Lincoln and Carter LOVE going on rides together and are both little dare devils. Here is a little clip of them together on one of the bigger rides that they were tall enough to go on. I love these boys so much!
Saturday was a HOT day! We picked up Baby's crib mattress in the morning and then headed out to Canada Olympic Park to meet up with friends and do the Skyline Luge!
I was totally bummed that I was not aloud to go on because I am pregnant... it looked like a blast and I cannot wait to try it out next summer!

An adult would each take a kid and off they went. Because I wasnt aloud to go on, our friend Zach took Carter while Brian took Bentley! The boys LOVED it!!!

The Dad's all ended up doing another ride down and Brian took Carter the second time around, lucky boy!
Sunday was a great day. It was sweet little Scarlett's baby blessing and we finished the evening off in fishcreek. Monday we Spent the morning at the lake. Brian took Carter Paddle boarding and is now addicted! Looks like we will need to live on the lake with a couple of paddle boards! Today we spent together just catching up on a couple of errands and getting Carter's hair cut... it was WAY to crazy to last a couple more weeks before cutting it again for the start of preschool so we did it!
We only had our phone for photos and this is how he sat for most of his hair cut!

He was excited when it was almost done...

And when it was done, he was happy and thankful but wanted to get the heck out of there lol

When we got home I noticed all my pears were WAY too ripe and were on the verge of going bad so I decided to can them! (DUMBEST IDEA EVER WHEN ITS PLUS 30 OUTSIDE!!!!) But they worked out and I am happy they didn't go to waist!

Today I am 31 weeks! I am feeling so excited to meet our little girl. I think about her every minute and am anticipating her arrival like crazy! 9 weeks still sounds far away but I really think (desperately hoping) it goes by fast.

Still trying to beat this heat and stay as cold as possible.. because lets be honestly.. heat and nausea really don't mix well! Here's to another crazy, fun week!
