This Heat!
This post is seeming rather difficult to right about how sweet my boys have been the past week as I sit here in the hallway yelling at Carter every 30 seconds because he has had ZERO listening skills today. Serioulsy NONE! And the talking beack has begun! Today, I told him to stop being so rude... "its making Mommy sad" and his response... "Go and cry like a baby then".. WHAT THE!!!?? All of a sudden the "sad" mama bear turned into a super mad OVERHEATING PREGNANT mama bear. It was not good news! Since when did he become so rude! This was totally an "Off" day for all of us.
BUT rewinding to the last few days... They both have been normal, crazy, active boys. We've been enjoying the hot summer days when its not plus 30 or more outside. This pregnant body of mine is really struggling with this heat! Its hard to get motivated, to clean or tidy my house and even harder to sleep these days with how hot its been. But first thing in the morning, before it gets blistering hot outside, Ive been taking the boys to the lake for a few hours. They love it and Carter's been a great help with that heavy wagon!

We went last week with my sister and her boys and aside from some weird guy accusing us of stealing his son's sand buckets.. which was weird watching him unpack my sister beach stuff looking for them... no we did not steal his $2 sand buckets... it was a good morning! I was impressed that both my boys got into that cold water (it was so nice for me!)... usually they hate the cold water. It was great!

We also braved a stampede breakfast this year. The boys and I went with my parents, my sister and her boys while our husbands were working. Im not actually a fan of pancake breakfasts but Co-op usually does a great job and the boys had fun. Not to mention they looked SUPER CUTE!

On Saturday was Carter's best friend, Lincoln's, birthday party! It was at heritage park and although it was SO HOT, it was so much fun! They did cake and presents right away (smart idea!) followed by all the kids doing potato-sac races!

of course the guys had to get in on it too lol looking closely at their faces says it all and Zach totally stole the show with his crazy jumping skills lol Andrea and I were killing ourselves laughing.

The rest of the day was awesome and by the end of the afternoon, both the boys were completely knocked out in their carseats with dirty faces. It was a complete success!

(Bentley is secretly so in love with Kaylee.. he is always giving her kisses and will always go to her. its really so sweet!)

Its been a crazy, fun, eventful and super extremely HOT week! Welcome to summer!!
As of today I am 28 weeks pregnant! Welcome to the third Trimester! YAY!!!! The countdown is totally on for me and I cannot wait to meet our daughter!

The last two weeks have been GREAT with not feeling nauseous or having heartburn, but the last two days Ive felt it again a little bit (not as bad for sure!) I am totally overheating every second of each hot day and really really enjoying when it cools off in the middle of the night! Its been my saving grace!
Ive been having really bad ligament pain again like I did when I was pregnant with Bentley. It even makes me "waddle" already sometimes... Geesh... and I have been feeling lots of pressure and like im carrying a boulder under my shirt 24/7. But above everything, I am so completely in love with this little baby of ours and I could not feel more blessed that she is growing great, moving all the time, and really just a healthy little baby. We are so lucky. Here's to my first week in the 3rd trimester, and secretly hoping the third trimester is the fastest one of all!
