New Beginnings.

I am feeling amazing! 26 weeks for me has been amazing so far (Minus the ligament Pain.. but who cares!!)

Thank you so much baby girl (and body) for giving this mama a break! Its actually a miracle that I am not sick right now and Im praying it sticks around! I went in for my Gestational Diabetes blood test last week.. and I FAILED IT! WHAT THE!!? I was totally freaking out! I did not want Gestational diabetes or a gigantic baby! I had to go back again for round two of the test. That was HORRIBLE! Just trying not to puke up the drink is the worst. But after drinking the juice (aka. orange gasoline), three blood test and two and a half hours later, my doctor called and said I passed with flying colours and I did not have Gestational Diabetes. I had nothing to worry about. Thank goodness! What a relief.

This sweet little girl of our has been INSANE lately. Moving non-stop! I really cant even tell if she is head down or where the heck her whole body is because she seems to be all over the place. I have a feeling she will be taking more after her biggest brother, Carter. I better get into shape because our boys are FAST and I don't think she will be any different. The last couple of days have really been great for me. I havent felt nauseous and the heartburn has calmed down a bit and honestly I am really beginning to FINALLY embrace this pregnancy. I am feeling finally like I only have 3 more months and she will be here. Its amazing! I cannot wait!

This past week has been crazy busy for us. We've had a couple of doctors appointments, blood work, photoshoots, organizing things, hanging out with Family from out of town, Canada Day and Brian's Birthday! Its been insane! My sweet Husband is now 27! I love his birthday because he and I are the same age again lol. Plus I love him to death so celebrating him is always such a joy for me!

Its fun for me that Brian's birthday is on Canada Day. Because every year, no matter what, he gets the day off work and we get to hang out! This year was much more chill. We got up, rode our bikes over to my parents house first thing is the morning to say Hi and then headed over to our church for a Canada Day celebration that morning. We rode our bikes home and put Bentley down for a quick nap. Then we got on our bikes again and headed over to the park to meet up with the McCollums for a play date. We finished the evening off with Dinner at the Keg and a relaxing evening at Brian's parents house and at home. It was so nice to have Bri home. You are my everything Brian, Happy Birthday (again!).

The weather has been SO HOT as well. The kids are LOVING it! I am totally overheating but thats to be expected. We've been playing a ton outside everyday, cleaning out the garage and weeding the garden.. or just playing in the dirt....

And lets not forget the amazing "mud soup" for the worms. Man our garden worms are lucky! I remember making slug soup as a kid ALL THE TIME with my sister. It was awesome.

The week is done and now we're relaxing and getting ready for another busy crazy week. We are starting to gather things for our little girl and I am totally wanting to start her nursery so we tried to put the boys in the same room last thursday. We bought Bentley a matching toddler bed to Carter's and set it up in Carter's room. It was a total DISASTER and after and hour and a half of sitting there putting Bentley back in his bed every 35 seconds, I gave up and put him back in his room, in his crib. What were we going to do! It was a total disaster and totally not going to work. He was not ready to be taken out of a crib at all, but I really didn't think his giant crib would fit nicely into the same room as Carter's toddler bed (we have super small rooms for them) so I though for sure I was going to have to buy him a small ikea crib. (What a pain!) But this morning, Brian convinced me otherwise! He was confident the crib would fit just fine so we tried it, and it's PERFECT!!

I still need to move over all of Bentley's clothes, and I think Ill just have them share Bentley's closet organizer once I move it into their shared room (maybe tomorrow Ill do that!) but I could not believe how much room there still was in their room. Tonight was the first night sharing a room. I was worried, but we did our bedtime routine with them together, said goodnight to them and put them both in their beds. THEY WERE IN HEAVEN! Bri and I sat in the hallway and listened to our little sweethearts laughing, giggling, playing peek a boo.. it was SO CUTE! And after 30 minutes of completely bonding and entertaining each other, they were both fast asleep.

Oh my goodness, there is nothing like sleeping children. Its so calming and QUIET! I love this time, watching them sleep, kissing their cheeks and whispering to them how much I love them. I love our boys.
