Father's Day.
This Father's Day was a great one! I got up early with Carter and we made Brian a nice and true "Dad breakfast".... bacon and eggs! (yes, I even made the bacon first thing in the morning while trying not to puke... and I didn't! What a relief!) The boys and I had gone Father's Day shopping for Brian earlier in the week. We bought him a new electric razor. We came home and wrapped it and hid it under our bed. I didn't mention it to Carter again, knowing that if I told him it was a secret.. he would for sure intentionally tell Brian thinking he was being funny... so I left it alone and not once did Carter speak of it! Well... until that morning. lol. Brian got out of bed and came downstairs where his bacon and eggs and wrapped present was sitting on the table for him. I could just see Carter's excitement. Almost shaking in his chair.. he looked at Brian and with SO MUCH RELIEF in his voice and face he shouted "I GOT YOU A RAZOR!!!!!!" Before Brian had even touched or acknowledged the gift sitting there. IT WAS AMAZING. We all burst out laughing! It was so much better than Brian just being surprised when he opened it. lol I love you so much Carter, thanks for always being excited and spontaneous!
Brian truly is the love of my life. I feel in love with Brian at 16 (well, I had just turned 17.. he was still 16) and have loved him more and more each and every day. I fell even more in love with Brian on November 27, 2010. The day I saw him with our first little boy, his first day as a Father. My heart swelled, my eyes glossed over with tears and I experienced the love of a wife to a husband who was a new Father.
Brian, you are the most incredible Father to our boys.. the way they wait at the window waiting for you to get home from work everyday is priceless. The way I see their faces light up when you pull into the drive and when they Say "DADDY!!! and DADA!!!" while banging on the window screen grabbing your attention before you walk through the door every day says it all. You are loved. The way you hold my tummy every night trying to feel our baby girl kick, or when you randomly come home with a beautiful little dress for her to wear because you "just couldn't resist how pretty she will look in it"... you truly are such an amazing Father.
We dated, got married, had kids and instantly our home became insanity.. and I wouldn't want to do the craziness of every single day with anyone else. You and I make a perfect team. We really were made for each other and our little sweeties are so so lucky to have you as their Father!

As for this sweet little miss inside my tummy... she is growing good! Maybe too good... I am feeling HUGE! 24 weeks was a great milestone!
Some of our best friend's had their first little boy at 24 weeks gestation and I will never take this week for granted. It truly is a great milestone in pregnancy and Im glad Im here and doing well. This little miss is kicking up a storm lately.. and usually just super late at night. Her kicks are bigger now and I can see them from just watching my tummy move. I love this part. She is already the size of a cantaloupe! This week, her face is fully formed, I cannot wait to see her sweet little face!!
This week, I went clothes shopping for the boys.. and her! It was amazing, SO MUCH FUN and really kinda therapeudic lol she will be so pretty!! Im excited to see what next week holds for us!
