Chop Chop!

Well, we did it. We finally cut Bentley's hair. It was a hard trigger to pull.. but we did it. It was getting so long that I was able to put it in a ponytail.. not that I ever did. Heres the thing.. I kinda want Bentley (for now) to have the cute "longer" boy hair.. but his hair is still so fine.. he needed to be cut so it could thicken up a bit.. then maybe Ill be able to grow it out into cute long boy hair! Although we still left a little length. Brian and I both take turns cutting hair but for Bentley's hair, because we weren't going to just use the trimmers, I left it to Brian.. I really don't trust my hair cutting skills that much. But he did a good job!

I wasn't able to take any pictures during the hair cutting process because Bentley DID NOT want to sit there and I put my full attention into distracting him. It as actually quite hilarious... Brian cut off almost 3 inches of Bentley's hair and when Bentley would see his hair falling to the ground he would quickly pick up as much of it as he could (he was sitting on the floor) and try to put his hair back on his head.. looking at us totally concerned as to why all his hair was falling out lol. Be both got a good laugh at it!

I think its safe to say we were all happy about it!

He looks so Handsome! This morning when the boys woke up, Carter insisted that they wear their matching t-shirts that their Grandma & Grandpa Gardiner brought back from mexico for them... they are seriously obsessed with them!

And every once in a while, I let Carter bring up his trains and some tracks to play with upstairs.. WITH BENTLEY... this is rare that I let him bring them up because he usually gets possessive of them and it ends in a big fight.. but today, he promised me that he would share ALL his trains and tracks if he could play them upstairs and he did a pretty good job!

I am so thankful that our boys have become such great friends. Whenever they fight, I always say (in a stern "mom" voice) You don't do that to your best friend!! He is your Best friend! And its caught on because the other day Bentley gave Carter a little "love-tap" access the arm and Carter looked him straight in the eye and said "YOU DONT DO THAT! IM YOUR BEST FRIEND!" lol
