Sunbeams!

Last Sunday, January 5th, was Carter's first day in Primary at church!



No more nursery for him, he is now in the Sunbeam class and we cannot be more excited about it! The last year and a half in nursery has been such a HUGE challenge for us! I think its safe to safe that he hated it. Almost every Sunday for the past year and a half he would have a complete breakdown from not wanting to go into nursery. It has been a pain! But now that he is Three he can go to Primary. Last Sunday he went to Primary and seemed to really like it! They had all the chairs set up (Carter got to help a bit with that) and the sunbeams all had their names on their chairs. Carter sat in his chair and Brian waited at the back of the room. Carter would often look back and give Brian a "thumbs up" and then turn around again. He was participating in the singing and even got to go up in front and help out with a little game at one point! When Brian slipped out the back door without Carter looking, I guess Carter turned around to give Brian another thumbs up and noticed that Brian wasn't there... another guy (Brother Bautista) looked at Carter and gave him a thumbs up ... Carter returned the thumbs up turned around and kept going!



My Prayers were answered! I am so so thrilled that the Day went great and that his first sunday in Primary was a success! Now, we just need to keep the trend for the weeks to come.
