Soccer Mom to Baseball Wife
and we ordered some soccer player cards!
Note his position.. Grass Roller.. haha.. he did spend most of the time rolling around in the grass so it was appropriate!
And now that Soccer is finished.. we are onto a new sport! Baseball! Brian got on a baseball team with a few friends and is really loving it! He plays every tuesday night at 7! The boys and I were excited to go watch him play a game so this past Tuesday, we picked him up from his new job as the Marketing Manager at McLean & Partners.. which he is totally loving and the 5 interviews taking a total of a month was totally worth it! I am so proud of him for getting this job that he really desired.
Anyways, we picked him up after work on Tuesday and we all went out for some appetizers or "snacks" as Carter calls them and then headed out to the field with the boys sporting their new baseball shirts!
Carter was LOVING pushing the stroller around the diamond before the game started...
...And Bentley was LOVING it too!!
Then the game started.. the boys watched intently for the first... 5 minutes!
Then it was Daddy's turn up to bat.. in this picture, he actually did hit the ball even though it totally looks like he is WAY OFF lol he ended up making it to first, and after a couple more people hitting it.. he made it home!
Because the attention span of a two year old and an 8 1/2 month old is clearly not very long, we walked across the huge field and played at the Park while Daddy finished his game!
The boys were in HEAVEN!
And I have NEVER seen a kid have more fun on the swings then Bentley did! Oh my goodness he was in HEAVEN!
Please excuse my Mother commentary on this video but Bentley was seriously having too much fun not to share it!

And because Bentley was loving the baby swing so much.. Carter NEEDED to give the baby swing a try too!
We headed back toward the baseball diamond with about 10 minutes left in their game. They won and Brian (and his "non-competitive" demeanor) was happy about it!
We got the boys home and to bed but not before a bedtime story.. this night, Carter wanted to sing instead of read so he got his Thomas and Friends (of course) sing along book and we really belted it out! Haha please excuse the tone deaf voice coming from this mama bear!
(Sorry this video is so long.. I would have made it smaller but Brian got rid of iMovie on our computer and I don't know how to edit the videos now so its just raw - and why the video is called "Sequence 1" I have no idea.. lol.. this is not one of my strengths!)

Although it was a handful for me keeping the boys up WAY past bedtime... while they tried to get onto the diamond to see Daddy .. it was fun and we will be sure to go to another game before his season is over. I really am loving having this crazy house of boys, sports and laughter!
