I am blessed to be my childrens' Mother.
Mother's Day is one of the most special days for me. I get to celebrate both my Mother, and my Mother-in-law. And I get to celebrate being a mother.
Today was wonderful. We started our day off early at Brian's parents house. Steven was calling home from his mission in Paris. We miss him so much and cannot wait for him to get home in August so it was Super nice to Skype with him today. I am so thankful for Brian's Mother. She is a wonderful, beautiful Mother. I love her so much for raising Brian the way she did. He loves me, cares for me, and best of all.. he respects me.. and I know he learned that from his Mother. So Merrilee, Thank you for raising your son to be a wonderful man who knows exactly how to cherish his Wife.. his family.. He is a wonderful Man and I love him more than ever. I appreciate all you do for us and for all your support. You mean the world to us.

Next we went to my moms house to celebrate her. Mom, you are amazing. You are one of my best friends and the relationship we have, I will cherish forever. Thank you for teaching me all you did, for always being there for me.. for putting us first. You make an incredible Mother, you have taught me many valuable lessons about being a Mother and I hope I can raise my boys the way you raised us. You have always treated me with respect and loved me through and through. Mom, I look up to you so much, you are such a great example. You mean the world to us.

I cherish the way both of our Mother's are with our boys. They love them so much and he loves both of them to the end of the earth and back.
I absolutely LOVE being a Mother to my two boys. They truly make my life so grand. I cannot help but have tears flow down my face as I write about my sweet little boys. I love them so much. (MAN, I AM SUCH A SAP!) I love kissing them goodnight.. every night. I love getting them in the mornings when they wake up with sweaty little heads and blanket lines on their faces. They have showed me so much more about Love than I ever could have imagined. They way you love your child is unconditional.. its selfless.. you would do anything for them.. and thats the way it should be.
I often hear.. for Mother's day.. I dont want to change one diaper, do bedtime, or listen to any crying. As for me.. I am opposite.. all I want to do on Mother's Day is be the worlds Best Mom! I dont want to do any dishes.. laundry or cleaning of any kind! All I want to do is spend every moment of Mother's Day with my Beautiful Children by my side.. playing with them, changing diapers, cuddling them when they cry and taking time for each little boy.. a little Mommy and me time, Starting with Carter. I wouldn't ever want to miss out on bedtime stories for 15 minutes of "me time" on Mother's Day. He wont let me cuddle up and read stories to him forever, and he will grow up far too fast.

And I love my goodnight kisses from Carter. I cherish every single one of them.

Next is Bentley. He is my snuggle bug. I wouldn't trade a cuddle with him for the world. He is so sweet, his skin is so soft and he still has that beautiful baby smell that I love.

I will always hold my babies close to my heart. They are mine. They will always be my little boys. And on Mother's Day especially, All I want to do is be with them.

And I love my goodnight cuddles with Bentley. I cherish every single one of them.

I wouldn't trade my Mother's Day for the world. Thank you Brian for letting me set aside being a wife today.. and just being able to be a Mother. You are the best Husband in the world.
